For orders shipped to countries outside the European Union, you, as the recipient, are responsible for any local taxes, import duties, customs charges, clearance fees, administrative fees, and any other charges imposed by the authorities or carrier in the destination country.
All shipments outside the European Union may be subject to such charges. PenStore.nl has no control over these fees and cannot determine in advance what costs may be charged by your country’s authorities or by the carrier. Please be aware that you may be required to pay VAT, import duties, and additional handling fees before the shipment can be released.
We recommend keeping the invoice you receive from us. In some cases, customs authorities or the carrier may request a copy of the invoice to complete the import clearance process.
If you choose not to pay the applicable import duties, taxes, or other customs-related charges, and as a result the shipment is refused or returned, any costs incurred by the carrier may be charged to you. In such cases, any refund will be reduced by the return shipping costs, customs clearance fees, administrative charges, and any other related expenses. If these costs exceed the value of the order, no refund can be issued.
